Cairns, Australia Evening 2/16/18

After the Dragon Dance celebrating Chinese New Year, there were fireworks at the City Park along the esplanade.  This is a great facility for the citizens.  There is no sandy beach in Cairns, so they created a swimming pool/park with a sandy beach.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Yes, that is Port Security circling our ship.  To Cairns' credit, it's the only security I have ever seen circling the ship during this trip.

The ship in the background is owned by a German travel agency.  It was originally commissioned for Princess.  They played the German national anthem before they departed.

Now, this is fresh seafood.  People are eating on the decks of these fishing boats.
