Zitherist Duc Dau owns more than 200 traditional instruments, many from the northwest and Central Highlands region. This ethnomusicologist owns flutes, cong chieng (gongs), cymbals, dan bau (single-stringed instrument) and the T”rung organ. His goal is to preserve Vietnam's traditional instruments and introduce them to the world. I was exhausted after an 11 hour day in Saigon/Ho Chi Min City, but was glad to experience this unique collection of instruments.
