Day 50 Sunday, March 5, 2023 Cabo Frio, Brazil

Day 50  Sun March 5 Cabo Frio, Brazil 8-4:00  TENDER PORT

Beautiful beaches can be found in Cabo Frio, meaning "Cold Cape".  The water is colder than neighboring beaches.  The white sand does not get hot. As of 2020, Cabo Frio's estimated population is 230,378.

I rode the tender in and met a lady named Judy, a retired teacher from LA and her husband, Irwin.  We walked around town, found the beach and found our way back to the tender.  We did do a lot of walking, over 12000 steps or 4.5 miles.  We walked around Passagem, the city's oldest part.

Praia do Forte is the Fort Beach.  This is the main beach in the city with 7.5 km of fine white sand.  Water sports include stand-up paddling, outrigger canoeing, sailing, surfing and kitesurfing.

Below is Cabo Frio, the picture was taken from our ship.
