Rio Olympics Mural 2016 "We are all one"

A mural was created by a Brazilian graffiti artist for the Rio Olympics in 2016, “We are all one”. This mural has 3,000 square meters. For the construction of the work, 1,800 liters of white paint were used at the bottom of the wall, 700 liters of colored paint and 3,000 spray cans. The mural is 15 meters high and 170 meters long.  You can walk 560 feet along Rio’s waterfront, and appreciate the largest mural graffiti in world.  This is a Guinness World Record accomplishment and a legacy of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

The work depicts a Tajapo boy from Brazil, a Mursi woman from Ethiopia, a Kayin woman from Thailand, a Supi man from Northern Europe, and a Huli man from Papua New Guinea. They represent humanity’s common ancestors, the indigenous people from America, Asia, Europe, Africa and Oceania.
