Day 125 Thurs. May 18, 2023 Singapore Overnight Depart 6:00
Today, I went out on my own. I inquired about the round-trip cable car ride and decided that's how I wanted to spend my time and money. It's all about the views and the views of Singapore were incredible. I saw lush rainforests, high rises and beautiful views of the Singapore Harbor. First, I went to Mount Faber Park and walked around to different viewpoints. Very nice. Then I rode the cable car back to where I started and continued on the Sentosa Island where I also walked around. I saw Resorts World which included Hershey Singapore, Legos and Universal Studios.
Singapore Cable Car is the World's first aerial cable car network that spans over a harbor. It is a gondola lift.

Merlion with a head of a lion and the body of a fish is the symbol of Singapore. The fish body pays tribute to Singapore's humble beginning as a fishing village. The lion's head represents Singapura which means lion city in Sanskrit. A story goes that a prince came up the river and saw this creature. - Sharks in the aquarium pool
Army Hospital The Military Hospital was built for the British and Indian troops in the 1890’s. During the Japanese occupation the building was used for the barracks of the Japanese troops. When World War II was over, married British servicemen resided there and those with families lived in the smaller buildings around the hospital. When the Singapore Armed Forces took over the military facilities, the building became the headquarters for the Singapore Combat Engineers. When Sentosa became a leisure destination the building housed a wax figure display representing the surrender ceremony of the Japanese Occupation. This evolved through time and is now Madame Tussauds Singapore as of 2016.
