The Vikings are coming. The lead Viking is the captain's wife, Laura. She is the Cruise Hostess and assists Cruise Director Heather. In the new ports Viking visited, Laura has hosted local dignitaries.

| This is the Viking God of the sea and his daughter. They are unhappy with the pollywogs. Pollywogs are people who have not crossed the equator before. Each pollywog will be charged with a crime. After today's ceremony they will be shellbacks. |

| Some crew members are pollywogs and are being judged for thire sins. They then have to kiss a real, dead fish, jump into the pool, get out of the pool and drink a shot of Aquavit to satisfy the God of the Sea. |

My camera's battery died and I did not get pictures of Captain Knutsen and his first mate being found guilty of taking seven days to travel to the French Polynesian Islands. Kim and Julia and about 300 hundred other guests participated and are now shellbacks. Heather, the cruise director and Laura Knutsen, her cohost also went into the pool.
I really wanted to see Kim participating in the fish/pool/drink challenge! Beautiful Sunset on the Pacific ~ in your last blog... Recuping from PA colds/flu sx. Thankful for the recent warmth! Enjoy! DP
