Chester has a racetrack and there was a race in town meaning this was going to be another packed town.
The River Dee

This park was created around Roman ruins that were moved here from their original locations. In the center you see remains of the Roman Baths. This was an early sauna. Hot air from a furnace was channeled in under the platform and a draft pulled the air out and up flues in the walls. This process heated the floors and the walls.
