(Temporary Backup) 9/5/2019 St. Ives. Part 2

The phone says 5.2 miles, 12,655 steps and I climbed 26 floors.  I must have walked up and down a lot of paths along the banks by the ocean.

St. Ives is known for its surf beaches and its art scene.  It is considered the best UK seaside town.  The town has four beaches.  Porthmeor is a surfing beach.  Porthgwidden is a small sandy cove.  Harbour is by the working port.  Porthminster has almost a half mile of sand.  The amount of sunshine here is above the national average.

St. Ives was a quaint town with great views.

We ended our day at a winery called Knighton.  We had a lovely dinner and a different wine with each course.  It was a very busy day with lots of lovely views and great food.

Scenery along the way!

There were Oreo cookie cows in the road.  Some are black and white and some are brown and tan.

Surfing school was in session in St. Ives.

Heading to London on the train tomorrow.  This tour is almost over.  Two nights in London and done...
